ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਪੰਥ ਦੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਵਰੋਸਾਏ ਝੰਡੇ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦਾ ਖਿਤਾਬ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪਾਕ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਝੰਡਾ ਕੋਈ ਆਮ ਝੰਡਾ ਨਹੀਂ। ਬਸੰਤੀ ਰੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਰਮਈ ਫਹਿਰਕੇ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਿਰਾਲੀ ਹੀ ਸ਼ਕਲ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਹੈ। ਸੋ ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਸ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਦੇ ਬਸਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੜਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਉਤਾਰਨ ਦੀ ਵਿਧੀ ਵੀ ਨਿਰਾਲੀ ਹੀ ਹੈ। ਭਾਈ ਕੁਲਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਹੋਰਾਂ ਇਸ ਵਿਧੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਲੇਖ ਵਿਚ ਬਾਖੂਬੀ ਬਿਆਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਕ ਦੋ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਜੋ ਦਾਸ ਦੀ ਜੋ ਨਜ਼ਰੀ ਪਈਆਂ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁੱਖ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਪਹਿਲੀ ਗੱਲ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦਾ ਰੰਗ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਖ਼ਾਲਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਬਸੰਤੀ ਰੰਗ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਸੀ ਅੱਜ ੳਸਦਾ ਭੀ

Notice that the 28th Hukam is "Rajneeti Parni" i.e. learn politics and the 29th Hukam is to use Saam, Daam, Dand and Bhed to win the enemy. These can be explained as follows: 1. Saam - Try to have a conciliatory approach towards the enemy to pacify him and end the enmity. 2. Daam - If Saam does not work then use Daam i.e. money to win over your enemy. Bir Rass is such emotion, that is unique to Khalsa, that is full of enthusiasm to fight a Dharam-yudh (religious war) but this emotion is totally contained within the Naam Rass. Since Naam Rass is unique to Khalsa, therefore, Gurmat Bir Rass too is unique to Khalsa. Bir Rass does not have even an iota of Krodh. Outwardly it may seem like an emotion similar to Krodh but it is not. Krodh has its origins in Maya whereas Bir Rass originates from Gurmat. Therefore, even though there is a perceived similarity between Bir Rass and Krodh, they are totally different. Some differences between Krodh and Bir Rass are: 1. Krodh originates from Maya whereas Bir Rass comes from Gurmat Naam. 2. Krodh begets cruelty whereas Bir Rass is full of Daya (compassion). 3. ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਆਸਾ ਕੀ ਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਕਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਰਵਾਇਤ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਨਹਾ ਧੋ ਕੇ, ਤੇ ਸੁੱਚਾ ਹੋ ਕੇ, ਸੁੱਚੇ ਚੌਕੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਆ ਬੈਠਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਜਜਮਾਨ, ਉਹ ਭੋਜਨ ਲਿਆ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਜੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਨੇ ਭਿੱਟਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ, ਭਾਵ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਹੱਥ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਹੈ, ਜਾਂ ਖਾਧਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਸੁੱਚਾ ਹੋ ਕੇ, ਉਸ ਸੁੱਚੇ ਭੋਜਨ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਖਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸਲੋਕ ਪੜ੍ਹਨ ਲੱਗ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਕੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਵੀਚਾਰਿਆ ਹੈ, ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਭੋਜਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਢਿੱਡ ਵਿਚ, ਭਾਵ ਗੰਦੇ ਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਪਾ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਇਹ ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਹੀ ਹੈ, ਕਿ ਢਿੱਡ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰਲੇ ਭਾਗ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਫ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਤਰੀਕਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਉਸੇ ਪੇਟ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੰਦਗੀ ਨਿਕਲਦੀ ਹੈ, ਫਿਰ ਉਸ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਭੋਜਨ ਨੂੰ ਗੰਦੇ ਥਾਂ ਸੁੱਟਣ ਦਾ ਦੋਸ਼ ਕਿਸ ਤੇ ਆਇਆ? ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਅੰਨ, ਪਾਣੀ, ਅੱਗ ਤੇ ਲੂਣ, ਇਹ ਚਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਹਨ, ਭਾਵ, ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਹਨ, ਪੰਜਵਾਂ ਘਿਉ ਜੋ ਖਾਂਣਾਂ ਤਿਆਰ ਲਈ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੌਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਵੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੈ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪੰਜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਲਾ ਕੇ ਬੜਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਭੋਜਨ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਸਰੀਰ ਭਾਵ, ਇਸ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਭੋਜਨ ਦੀ ਪਾਪੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਗਤ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਗੰਦਗੀ ਨਿਕਲਦੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਗੰਦਗੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਥੁੱਕਾਂ ਪੈਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇ

ਅੱਜ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਪੰਥ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਵਾਦ ਰੂਪੀ ਨਾਗ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮਾ ਜਾਣ ਦੇ ਕਗਾਰ ਤੇ ਹੈ। ਮੂਰਤੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਪਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਭਰਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਹਿਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਪੰਥ, ਪਤਿਤ ਪੁਣੇਂ ਦੇ ਬੁਰੇ ਵਕਤ ਤੋਂ ਗੁਜ਼ਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਖ਼ਤਰਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਅਨਜਾਣ ਸਾਡੇ ਪੰਥਕ ਅਦਾਰੇ, ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰਕ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀ ਨਜ਼ਾਕਤ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਂ ਸਮਝਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਆਪਣੀ ਹਊਮੈ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਚਾਰਕ ਮਤਭੇਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੀ-ਆਪਣੀ ਡਫ਼ਲੀ ਵਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਪੰਥ ਉਨੂੰਤੇ ਮੰਡਲਾ ਰਹੇ ਖ਼ਤਰਿਆਂ ਵਲ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਥਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਨਿੱਤ ਦਿਨ ਨਵੇਂ-ਨਵੇਂ ਬੇ-ਫ਼ਜ਼ੂਲ ਦੇ ਵਿਵਾਦ ਪੰਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਤ ਨਵੀਂਆਂ ਬਹਿਸਾਂ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਸਿੱਖ ਜਗਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਿਆਨ ਅਤੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਤੋਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਦੂਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਸਿੱਖ ਅਸਲੀ ਮੁੱਦਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਭਟਕ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਕਈ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਬੇਫ਼ਜ਼ੂਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਹਿਸਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਡੀ

ਦਸਮ ਗੁਰੂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੇ 13 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ, 1699 ਈ. ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜ ਪਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਛਕਾ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਆਪ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਪੰਜ ਪਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਛਕ ਕੇ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਪੰਥ ਦੀ ਨੀਂਹ ਰਖੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਖ ਧਰਮ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਵਖਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਲਖਣ ਪਹਿਚਾਨ ਦਿਤੀ।ਕੀ ਅਸੀ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਦਿਤੀਆਂ ਸਿਖਿਆਵਾਂ ਤੇ ਚਲ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ?       ਜੇਕਰ ਅਜ ਦੇ ਹਾਲਤਾਂ ਤੇ ਨਜਰ ਮਾਰੀਏ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਉਲਟ ਚਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਅਜ ਸਿਖ ਧਰਮ ਵਿਚ ਕੋਈ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਅਖੋਤੀ ਰੀਤੀਰਿਵਾਜ ਅਤੇ ਵਹਿਮਭਰਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਲਾ ਲਏ ਹਨ।ਉਦਾਹਰਣ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਚ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਮਸਤਕ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਪਥਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਨਕ ਰਗੜਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਰੋਵਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਡੁਬਕੀ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਆਦਾ ਅਹਿਮੀਅਤ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਦ ਕਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਵਿਚ ਦਰਜ ਬਾਣੀ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਸਭ ਵਹਿਮਾਂਭਰਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਜੋਰਦਾਰ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਖੰਡਨ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।ਪਹਿਲੀ ਪਾਤਸਾਹੀ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇ ਜੀ ਫਰਮਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ: ਹਰਿ ਮੰਦਰ ਏਹਿ ਸਰੀਰੁ ਹੈ, ਗਿਆਨ ਰਤਨ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋਇ ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਾਬਾ ਫਰੀਦ ਜੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਵਿਚ ਸਮਝਾਉਦੇ ਹਨ: ਫਰੀਦਾ ਜੰਗਲੁ ਜੰਗਲੁ ਕਿਆ ਭਵਹਿ ਵਣਿ ਕੰਡਾ ਮੋੜੇਹਿ।। ਵਸੀ ਰਬੁ ਹਿਆਲੀਐ ਜੰਗਲੁ ਕਿਆ ਢੂਢੇਹਿ।।       ਅਜ ਕਲ ਤਾਂ ਸਿਖ ਦੀ ਪਰਿਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਹੀ ਬਦਲ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਅ

We often hear people say things like “Well, I’m not into religion, but I’m a very spiritual person” or, “he’s really very spiritual.” But what does it actually mean to “be spiritual?” It’s very simple actually, spirituality is our true nature. That’s because we are spirit. Our bodies fall away, our material possessions fall away, our spouses, children, families and friends fall away. What is it that remains? What is the constant beyond time and space? That is our spirit. It is the essence of the infinite power of our projection and our creativity. So how do we live in that spirit? Two things are needed: awareness and surrender. Awareness is also known as Simran: moment to moment remembrance of our true identity – “ Naam Chit Aavai. ” Through our breath, we remember that we are alive in the ecstasy of being born and dying in each and every moment. The infinite flows through us like electricity. We see and we feel the sacredness in each moment. Who is brushing my teeth?

ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬਾਬਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਨੇ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੰਤਰ ਰਟਨ ਤੋਂ ਵਰਜਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਅਫਸੋਸ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬਾਬਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਨੇ ਕੱਢਿਆ, ਅਸੀਂ ਫਿਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਗਲਤਾਨ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ। ਪਰ ਅੱਜ ਇਹ ਅਖੌਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਥਾ ਚਲ ਪਈ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ-ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਵਾਰ-ਵਾਰ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੀ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਨਾਮ ਜੱਪਣਾ ਹੈ। ਜਦਕਿ ‘ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ’ ਅਖਰ ਗੁਰਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ (ਸੱਚ ਦਾ ਗਿਆਨ) ਹੀ ਗੁਰਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕੇ,ਉਸ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਜਿਉਣਾ ਹੀ ਨਾਮ ਜੱਪਣਾ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਅੱਖਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਰ ਵਾਰ ਰਟਨਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਣਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਨਿਰੋਲ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਵਾਦੀ ਵਿਚਾਰਧਾਰਾ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਕਿ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ।

ਝਿਮਿ ਝਿਮਿ ਵਰਸੈ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਧਾਰਾ ॥ ਮਨੁ ਪੀਵੈ ਸੁਨਿ ਸਬਦੁ ਬੀਚਾਰਾ ॥ ਅਨਦ ਬਿਨੋਦ ਕਰੇ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤੀ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਕੇਲਾ ਜੀਉ ॥੨॥ Slowly, gently, drop by drop, the stream of nectar trickles down within. The mind drinks it in, hearing and reflecting on the Word of the Shabad. It enjoys bliss and ecstasy day and night, and plays with the Lord forever and ever. ||2||
