Gurduwara Ibadat sirf Allah ki karien

Image
Before us was the Gurdwara of Nanak, a sad structure with only its skeleton surviving. Inside there was graffiti which read, “Ibadat sirf Allah ki karien”. Under the dome of the sacred shrine there were pictures of the 10 Sikh Gurus. The faces of all of these portraits had been chiselled out. Next to the pictures, there was a verse from Nanak’s poetry establishing his commitment to monotheism. A few cowherds stood around me staring at the headless pictures of Sikh Gurus. This  was the village of Jhaman, a historical village on the outskirts of Lahore, a village that had been made famous by Guru Nanak Dev ji's visit.

This Janam-Sakhi ( of 1543 A. D.) was changed by Hirdei Ram Bhalla, an employee of Emperor Jahangir to "Prachin Janam-Sakhi". Mr. Hirdei Rama Bhalla was a close friend of Bhai Banno ( ref. The Oriental Manuscript 2751, of British-Museum, clears almost every question on the change of Nanac's History. This manuscript of 1623 A.D., confirms that Emperor Jahangir gave the responsibility to Hirday Ram Bhalla to change the Janam -Sakhi of Jodh Soni, which was handed over to the emperor, Jahangir, by Hari Das Soni (Daroga of Fort Gwalior),for printing. But instead of printing, the emperor gave it (Janam-Sakhi) to Hirday Ram Bhalla for a change. The name of the father of Haridas is "Sawan Mall "{ artist by professio

Routes of guru nanak dev ji

Prefect Devinder Singh handed over the attendance list to the hostel superintendent Prof. Baljeet Singh Grewal and went away in the fall of 1978.At the same time Prof. S.S.Narula and myself went in to meet Prof. B.S.Grewal of Government College, Ludhiana. But he was sitting in a melancholy mood,we asked what was the cause of his sadness. He told us that he was repenting a missed chance. And it was when he(Prof. Baljeet Singh Grewal) was doing the service with Government College,Hissar in 1966.In that year he himself saw with his own eyes a book written by Martin Luther in Latin language in which had a reference that Satguru Nanak Sahib had a discussion with Martin Luther on the mountain Ypsario in Greece in early March of 1520. He could neither photocopy that reference nor write the title of that book anywhere. After about 12 years, he went there but could not find that book as that was misshelved or misplaced. He appologised to the Almighty Satguru and prayed that He could get it done

In 1912 Sirdar Karam Singh Historian, had confirmed the statement of Prof. Gurmukh Singh'S finding a Gurdwara Sahib in Asthrakhan. Prof. Gurmukh Singh made this statement in 1878 at Oriental College, Lahore. He was a prof. of Punjabi Language there.Professor Gurmukh Singh'S statement had been confirmed by " The Calcutta Review, 1858" . On its particlar page no. 251. the worthy editor of The Calcutta Review, states---"The Seikhs have a shrine in Asthrakhan, and another in some obscure place on the shore of Red Sea, which Khalsas view with the same veneration that the Christian of the middle ages viewed Jeruslem, and the Moslems of all the ages have viewed Macca and Medina---.". This leaves no doubt that the Gurdwara Sahib in Asthrakhan was historical like the Gurdwara Sahib in Aden ( on the shores of Red Sea) The real s
